In an interview with Karen Davila, he said: “It’s over. Tapos na ‘yung termino ni PNoy.”

“Unfortunately, itong mga [m]agagandang bagay na sinabi sa kanya hindi niya ‘to narinig,” he added.

Despite this, the 44-year-old politician urged the public to be “forward-looking” like his uncle.

According to Bam, even after PNoy’s term as president was over, he always asked questions and was worried about what would happen next for the Philippines.

“When he stepped down on the presidency at bibisitahin ko siya sa Times, [h]e was always asking and worried about what’s going to happen next,” he said.

“Up to his last days, inaalala niya at nangangamba siya tungkol sa sitwayson ng ating bayan,” he added.

Bam also shared that the theme of the 40th day since the passing of the former president is his famous tagline “Kayo ang boss ko” to be held on August 1.

It was on June 24 when PNoy or Benigno Aquino III passed away at the age of 61 due to renal disease.
