Singer-actress Zsa Zsa Padilla recently took to social media as she responded to rumors that she had tested positive for COVID-19.
In her Instagram post, she shared that she had been experiencing leg and back pain non-stop for five days.
While she wanted to get a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan in the Philippines, she was forced to fly to the United States to get her MRI because of overcrowding of hospitals in the country.
Revealing she had been hearing stories from people saying that she recently got infected with coronavirus disease (COVID-19), she took the opportunity to respond to the rumors and said: “I also heard recently that I’ve had COVID. It’s not true”.

While she had been experiencing problems with her leg and back for quite some time, she revealed that she didn’t want to heed the advice of her doctor to get a Magnetic Resonance Imaging scan due to claustrophobia.
Because of the increasing number of coronavirus cases that overcrowded hospitals, she then revealed that she had to fly to California, USA to see a nerve specialist.
“I had my last test — ironically the MRI I most dread. What a finale, Huh? I’m happy though that Art found a machine for me that is so much less threatening than a regular MRI. And I’ve conditioned myself well enough to be braver and to keep smiling,” she said.
