Here’s the COVID-19 test result of Sen. Leila De Lima
LEILA DE LIMA – The COVID-19 test result of the convicted senator, who is said to have suffered from a mild stroke, has been revealed.
Recently, two (2) Courts in Muntinlupa have granted the request of De Lima for a medical furlough or a temporary release from the detention for the purpose of medical examination.
According to Judge Leizel Aquiatan of Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 205, there is a need for the lady Senator for an immediate Brain Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) with contrast. She was granted three (3) days for a check-up.
Sen. Leila De Lima complained of headache and “persistent generalized weakness.”
Meanwhile, her chief of staff Atty. Fhillip Sawali revealed that she tested negative for coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
“Lumabas na yung swab result ni Sen. Leila is negative,” he said.
Leila De Lima arrived at Manila Doctors Hospital on Saturday, April 24 to get the necessary medical treatment for her health condition.
According to her on-call doctor as per the result of the examination, “she experienced a Transient Ischemic Attack (mild stroke), hence the urgent and extremely important need to rule out a cerebrovascular accident.”
