Juho Sarvikas was set to join Qualcomm as VP and President of North America.
After announcing his exit from HMD Global last month, former HMD Global senior executive Juho Sarvikas announced that he was set to join Qualcomm as VP and President of North America.
Qualcomm Senior Vice President and President of Global Business Jim Cathey announced in his tweet that Juho will be joining Qualcomm.
In Cathey’s tweet, it was revealed that Juho — a former HMD Global Chief Product Officer and VP of the North American division — will join Qualcomm as VP and President of North America.
Juho then confirmed Cathey’s announcement by retweeting Cathey’s tweet. In his retweeted post, he said that he will resume at Qualcomm on April 12, 2021.

Following the said announcement, Juho had changed his Twitter and LinkedIn bio in order to reflect his new role.

Prior to this, Juho announced on Twitter that he’s leaving Nokia and HMD after 15 years.
Under his leadership as the Chief Product Officer of the company, HMD Global announced several Nokia-branded Android smartphones and feature phones. HMD Global also released modern versions of classic Nokia phones such as the Nokia 8110 4G, Nokia 5310, and Nokia 3310.
Juho was also the VP of HMD Global North America before his resignation from the company.
