Richard Merk had a mild stroke
Jazz singer Richard Merk was rushed to a nearby hospital on Thursday, February 11 after suffering from a mild stroke.
It was confirmed by his sister Rachel Anne Wolfe who posted a prayer via social networking site, Facebook on Wednesday, February 17, in behalf of Richard.
“Please say a prayer for my brother Richard Merk who had a mild stroke last Feb. 11 in his sleep. All the prayers you can give would be very much appreciated,” she said.
“He is in high spirits and is recovering at Makati Medical Center,” she added.
Richard Reynoso also shared Rachel Anne’s post with the caption: “May I ask all my friends to please say a healing prayer for my good friend, Richard James B. Merk who suffered a mild stroke last Feb 11?”
“When I had my thyroidectomy, he visited me and showed his support. He also visited me when I had my Radioactive Iodine Treatment.” he said.
“Wish I can do the same but this pandemic makes it difficult for everyone to just go to the hospital. Thank you so much in advance and please keep safe, everyone,” he added.
It was in December 2018 when he was placed under the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). He is diabetic.
