A poor mom who is earning P25 per day for making 500 pieces of barbeque sticks to support mentally-incapacitated daughter breaks hearts of netizens.

A Facebook user named Marilou Mendoza Labanes has shared the photos of a poor grandma who is earning P25 per day for making 500 pieces of barbeque sticks to support her family. The photos garnered various reactions online.

Labanes said that the poor grandma is the only one who is supporting her mentally-incapacitated daughter and grandchild. She is the one who is making all the household chores because of her daughter’s condition.

Aside from doing all the household chores, the elderly woman is the only one who makes a living to earn a very small amount to fill their empty stomachs. She is selling 100 pieces of barbeque sticks per P5.

The grandma was able to make 500 pieces of barbeque sticks per day and earning a total amount of P25 daily. The poor mom is using the small amount of cash to buy rice and corn for their entire day consumption.
