Update on Case of Christine Dacera As PNP Releases Medico-Legal Report
CHRISTINE DACERA – The camp of the 23-year-old flight attendant broke their silence on the medico-legal report of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
Investigations on the death of Christine Angelica Dacera, a 23-year-old flight attendant who was found dead in a hotel last January 1, are ongoing.
Dacera was reportedly found dead in a bathtub of a room in City Garden Grand Hotel where she and friends welcomed the New Year.
According to Rommel Galido, one of Dacera’s friends, she was unconscious when he found her in the bathtub so they removed her and tried to revive her. She was rushed to Makati Medical Center but was declared dead on arrival.
The first autopsy on the body of Dacera determined ruptured aortic aneurysm as the cause of her death. Her family is not convinced with the said findings.

Recently, the PNP medico-legal report was released. Ruptured aortic aneurysm remains to be the cause of the death of Christine Dacera in the findings of the police.
The camp of Dacera broke their silence on the findings of the PNP medico-legal. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, they found irregularities on the examination conducted.
“The medico-legal report ni Dr. Palmero is not a medico-legal examination, dahil sa ‘yung bangkay ni Christine eh nalibing na noong January 11. It was buried on January 10,” Atty. Roger Reyes, the spokesperson of the Dacera family, said.
Based on the report, the Dacera family does not accept the findings of the PNP citing the bruises found in the body of the flight attendant. They also cited its exclusion on the report.
“Hindi lang dahil sa sequence chain or procedure, but talagang we believe there is an intent to cover-up the cause of the death of Christine Dacera,” the spokesperson of the Dacera family said.
