A murder suspect was arrested in Sta. Cruz, Manila after being confronted for not wearing a face mask.
The suspect, identified as Anthony Irinco, was also caught with a knife.
After being found out for not wearing a face mask, Irinco was then verified to be a suspect in the murder of his co-worker in Valenzuela.
According to Irinco, it was not him but another of their co-workers named Ryan who stabbed the victim. Ryan and the victim had previously had an argument.
Irinco added via a report from GMA News that he could not report to the police because he did not know what to do after the crime took place.
Meanwhile, among the safety protocols that everyone must observe in order to combat the spread of COVID-19 is by wearing a face mask especially in public places.
Aside from that, everyone is required to observe social/physical distancing in the public as it helps to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 infection which is characterized by flu-like symptoms such as fever, difficulty in breathing, cough, and other respiratory problems but a patient may also be positive for the disease even without showing any signs.
