This year’s “Year in Search” video from Google had debuted as it gave a look back at the roller-coaster of a year.

In the said video, Google had changed up its style a bit as this year’s video was accompanied by a poem that was performed by Kofi Dadzie — a musician and a poet who was based in Boston.

An original song that was created by Chance the Rapper, Peter Cottontale, and Cynthia Erivo, “Together”, was played before its formal release this Friday, according to a report on 9to5Google.

Google’s Year in Search 2020 poem and video went over top search trends worldwide, with the question “why” as the central part of 2020.

The top trends for this year include some of the biggest events, which was headlined by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Other big trends included the Black Lives Matter movement and notable deaths in 2020 such as Kobe Bryant, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, and Chadwick Boseman.

Also, Google detailed the biggest trends of this year on Google Trends. It’s interesting to see how the US election 2020 and coronavirus affected top trends throughout the year.
