Donald Trump Jr., positive for coronavirus
Donald Trump Jr., the son of outgoing US President Donald Trump, tested positive for COVID-19 according to a spokesperson.
He has been “quarantining at his cabin since the result,” although he is experiencing no symptoms.
“He’s been completely asymptomatic so far and is following all medically recommended COVID-19 guidelines,” the spokesman noted.
Andrew Giuliani, the son of the president’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, also tested positive for the dreaded virus.
Last month, Donald Trump and his wife Melania as well as other senior officials of the Trump administration were infected by the coronavirus disease 2019.
Policy advisers Stephen Miller and Hope Hicks and press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany were among those who have been infected by the disease since October.
White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows also turned out positive for the virus early this month.
Meanwhile, the US is leading as the worst-hit country with more than 12 million cases as of posting and over 260,000 fatalities.
