The Department of Health (DOH) had recorded 14,944 newly-reported coronavirus recoveries in the Philippines as of 4:00 p.m. today, October 25, 2020.
This, as the Department of Health gave an update on the total number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines.
According to its COVID-19 Case Bulletin #225 dated October 25, 2020, the Department of Health reported 2,223 newly-reported COVID-19 cases, wherein 2,059 out of 2,223 were recorded as “fresh” cases — reported cases occurred within the recent 14 days.
This brought the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus disease to 370,028.
Since September 11, the Department of Health didn’t report the number of operational laboratories who successfully submitted their data to the COVID-19 Data Repository System as well as the total number of operational laboratories. However, the Department of Health on Sunday reported that 16 operational laboratories failed to submit their data to the CDRS.

The Department of Health also reported 35,015 total active cases as stated in its COVID-19 Case Bulletin #225 dated October 25, 2020.
Moreover, the Department of Health identified the top five areas with the highest number of new coronavirus cases as of October 25 only: Quezon City with 112 new cases, Laguna with 111 new cases, Rizal with 109 new cases, Cavite with 79 new cases, and Batangas with 74 new cases.
Aside from the number of confirmed cases, the Department of Health had recorded 14,944 newly-reported recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries to 328,036. Also, the Department of Health recorded 43 newly-reported fatalities, bringing the total number of coronavirus deaths to 6,977.
