Ian de Leon Responds to Lotlot de Leon’s Allegations
IAN DE LEON – The actor has responded to the statements made by his sister, Lotlot de Leon, after their family issue became public during a film story conference and his appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.
The situation escalated after Lotlot called him a liar in connection with remarks from his pre-recorded interview. Ian addressed the issue through Facebook Stories, where he denied several claims and explained his side.
Ian said that after their mother passed away, the family discussed plans to create a foundation in her honor. He stated that he supported the idea but emphasized the need to complete legal requirements first before launching any project. According to him, he advised the family to properly secure documents with the Securities and Exchange Commission to avoid future problems.
He also denied allegations that he refused to cooperate. Ian said he was not fully informed about some meetings and that key details were not clearly explained to him. He added that he participated in discussions and remained open to working with the family, but stressed that decisions should be transparent and properly organized before anything is finalized. He also said he was being asked to commit without complete information, which made him cautious about signing documents.
Ian further addressed claims that he was causing conflict within the family. He said he never intended to disrespect his siblings and continues to treat them with respect despite their disagreements. He also defended his interview, explaining that it was part of a Father’s Day feature and not meant to attack anyone.
In his statements, Ian rejected accusations that he was taking or claiming anything unfairly. He questioned why he was being portrayed negatively and clarified that his main concern has always been fairness and proper process. He said he believes that all parties involved should have equal participation and full transparency, especially in matters concerning their late mother’s legacy and the plans being discussed for her foundation.
