Beauty Queen Bea Millan-Windorski Stays Unbothered by Online Bashing
BEA MILLAN-WINDORSKI – The Miss Universe Philippines 2026 winner remains unfazed by online criticism about her facial features, particularly comments comparing her face shape to a mango.
In a recent interview on “The Long Take” on May 5, she said she is aware of the remarks but chooses not to take them negatively.
Instead of feeling offended, she shared that she actually finds the comparison amusing and even embraces it, noting that mango is her favorite fruit. Because of this, she said people can continue calling her “mangga” without bothering her, as she takes it lightly.
“Another one of my, like, the bashing comments that I actually really like is people call me ‘mangga’ because of my face shape,” she said. “But mangoes are my favorite fruit. So, okay, go on. Call me ‘mangga,'” she added.

Bea also reflected on her past experiences with bullying, saying she has learned over time to accept her natural features. She explained that her facial structure is something she inherited from her mother and grandmother, and she now sees it as part of her identity rather than a flaw. For her, honoring the traits passed down by the women in her family is more important than trying to fit narrow beauty standards.
Born in 2002 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, Bea comes from a Filipino immigrant family. Her Filipino roots come from her mother’s side. Although she currently lives in Makati, she represents La Union, which is the province of her grandparents and holds personal meaning for her.

Despite the criticism she receives online, Bea continues to focus on her journey as a beauty queen and her responsibilities as a national representative. She is preparing to represent the Philippines on the global stage in the 75th edition of the Miss Universe scheduled for November 2026.
