Sue Ramirez Comments on Alvin Aragon’s Interview
SUE RAMIREZ – The actress drew online attention after reacting to statements made by Alvin Aragon regarding why his wife, Izzy Trazona, left the dance group SexBomb Girls in 2009.
The discussion began when ABS-CBN News shared a post featuring Alvin’s earlier radio interview on DZAR. In the interview, Alvin explained that Izzy chose to step away from the group as she became more devoted to her faith. He emphasized that the decision was personal and not influenced by their relationship, adding that she simply followed what she believed was the right path for her life at that time.
“Sino ang nagpa-resign [kay Izzy Trazona] sa SexBomb? Ang Panginoon noong naging Christian si Izzy. Pinag-resign ng Lord. Sabi ni Lord kay Izzy, ‘Come, follow me. I will make you fishers of men.’ Nag-obey si Izzy do’n,” Aragon said.

Sue later shared her perspective in the comment section of the post. She expressed concern over the idea that leaving the group for religious reasons might suggest that being part of SexBomb was something negative. Her reaction reflected her belief that performing in the group should not be viewed as wrong. She also pointed out that there are more serious issues in society, particularly when people are judged or treated unfairly because of their identity.

“Na para bang kasalanan maging sexbomb????” She then added: “Mas kasalanan kaya maging homophobic at transphobic.”

Her brief comment quickly gained attention online. Many supported her viewpoint, while others expressed understanding toward Alvin’s explanation and respected Izzy’s personal choice. The situation sparked a broader conversation, with people sharing their opinions on faith, career decisions, and the importance of respecting different life paths.
As of now, Sue has not released any further statement beyond her initial reaction, and Alvin has not directly responded to her remarks.
