GLAIZA DE CASTRO – The actress spoke up about a viral video showing her husband, David Rainey, and actress Maris Racal during the premiere night of the film “Unmarry” in December 2025.
The clip quickly spread online and caught the attention of many viewers after it showed David looking in Maris’ direction while she was speaking onstage. During her guest appearance on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” together with her “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre” co-stars Kylie Padilla, Sanya Lopez, and Gabbi Garcia, Glaiza was asked about the trending video. She explained that she was surprised when she first learned that her husband was trending online.
She shared that she immediately showed the clip to David, and he was confused and shocked by the sudden attention since he is not used to being in the public eye. As someone who is not part of the entertainment industry, David is not familiar with how things work during showbiz events and how quickly moments can spread online.
Glaiza De Castro explained that they were onstage that night to show support for the movie and for her close friend Angelica Panganiban, who is part of the cast. Several people were invited to speak, including Glaiza, Maris, and other personalities. Since David was simply there to offer support and was not one of the speakers, he mostly stood quietly onstage.

She shared that when Maris was talking, it was only natural for David to look at her because she was the one speaking at that moment.
