Malou Masangkay Clarifies Manny Pacquiao’s Support for Eman
MALOU MASANGKAY — The longtime personal assistant of Jinkee and Manny Pacquiao spoke up to clarify public questions about how much support Eman Bacosa received from his father.
Based on what she personally witnessed over the years, Malou said that Manny and Jinkee consistently helped Eman and never neglected him. She shared that Manny personally took part in providing Eman’s needs, including shopping for important items such as a piano, clothes, shoes, and other personal expenses.
According to her, Eman was always treated with care and was clearly loved by his father. Malou reminded the public not to judge the couple, stressing that they are naturally generous and do not need to publicize the help they give. She also expressed her belief that Eman knows how deeply his father loves him.
The issue resurfaced after a viral video showed doctors Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho buying gifts for Eman, including a luxury watch. This led some netizens to assume that others were doing more for Eman than Manny Pacquiao. To correct this, a close family friend explained that the luxury watch actually came from Manny himself. He emphasized that Manny has been quietly supporting his son for a long time and that much of this support was never shared publicly.
It was also revealed that Manny provided Eman with an apartment in General Santos City even before the pandemic. The apartment served as Eman’s home while he trained in boxing. Along with housing, Manny gave Eman regular financial support to cover his training and daily needs. These details were not mentioned in earlier interviews, which led to misunderstandings about Manny’s involvement in his son’s life.
Jinkee Pacquiao later confirmed that she is fully aware of everything Manny has given Eman. She said their relationship with him is good and made it clear that she has no issues with Manny being close to his children. She avoided discussing personal matters involving Eman’s mother and clarified that there is no resentment on her part.
