CARLA ABELLANA – The Kapuso actress has confirmed that she is now engaged to her new partner, whom she has not yet officially introduced to the public and who is believed to be a doctor. She shared the news on social media by posting a photo of her hand wearing a beautiful engagement ring while holding the hand of her future husband.
The post was captioned with three white heart emojis and a Bible verse from Jeremiah 29:11, which speaks about hope, a meaningful future, and God’s plan to bring goodness and not harm. While the photo stirred excitement and curiosity among fans, Carla did not share any details about when or where the proposal took place, choosing instead to keep both the identity of her fiancé and the moment itself private.
In an earlier interview, when she was asked about the rumor that she would have a garden wedding with a doctor on December 27, 2025, Carla did not deny the possibility. Instead, she spoke about how happy and content she is with her life at present. She shared that she has already moved into her dream house, enjoys caring for her many dogs, and spends meaningful time with her family while also being able to go out and enjoy life. She expressed that she feels truly fulfilled and at peace, both in her personal life and her career.
When asked whether the rumored wedding date would affect her attendance at the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival awards night, where her film Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins is part of the lineup, Carla responded positively. She said she would still attend, as it is part of her professional responsibilities. However, she made it clear that whether the wedding date is true or not is part of her private life.
After experiencing many personal matters being exposed to the public in the past, she now chooses to keep certain things to herself. Carla emphasized that if there is any important announcement to be made in the future, it will come directly from her and not from rumors or secondhand information.
