Female Doctor Shares Conversation w/ Her Clinic Patient
A female doctor shared about her stressful and high blood pressure–inducing exchange with one of her clinic patients.
Recently, Arra Rojales, a Threads user, posted about her funny yet frustrating conversation with a patient. The post quickly went viral on social media and received various reactions from internet users.
Rojales described how a patient came in for a follow-up check-up. While she was checking his blood pressure, the patient wanted to start a conversation. She politely asked him not to talk first to avoid affecting his blood pressure results.

However, instead of holding back, the patient suddenly asked her a personal question about why she was still not married. The unexpected comment left the doctor speechless and laughing in disbelief.
She jokingly shared that it was her own blood pressure that went up because of the patient. Many netizens reacted to the story, saying they understood how challenging it can be for healthcare workers to deal with patients who love making personal remarks.
Some also shared similar experiences, where patients tend to ask about their love life or family matters even during consultations.

In another story, the doctor mentioned that some patients even recognize her as a former classmate’s crush from elementary or high school. Instead of discussing health issues, they begin the appointment by bringing up old memories, making the situation even funnier and more awkward.
Many netizen commented that such encounters are also what make medical professions colorful and full of stories worth remembering.
