A lady netizen proudly shared how her senior citizen father still takes her to the terminal even though she is already an adult.
Recently, Angelicka Halili, a Facebook user, posted a touching video of her father accompanying her to the terminal, even though he is already elderly. The post quickly went viral and received various reactions from the online community.
Halili, who lives in Mabalacat City, Pampanga. In her post, she showed her 66-year-old father, Ismael, patiently accompanying her to the terminal in the early hours of the morning so she could catch a bus heading to Pasay City for work.
Despite his age, he continues to wake up at around 3:00 a.m. just to make sure she travels safely.
The lady netizen shared that her father has been doing this since she was young. It did not matter whether the weather was good or bad, whether he had slept or not, or even if he was not feeling well. He never complained and always showed up for her.
“Since bata pa po ako hatid-sundo na ako ni papa, rain or shine, anytime of the day, may tulog man siya o wala, may sakit man siya o wala, never siya nagreklamo sunduin at ihatid ako,” Halili shared.

She recalled how every time they were at the station, he would walk around looking for the right bus and would never leave until the vehicle had departed.
“Every time nasa bus station kami, nata-touch ako na siya pa mismo umiikot-ikot para maghanap ng masasakyan ko. At ‘di siya umaalis hangga’t ‘di nakaaalis ‘yung bus,” she added.
For Angelicka, her father has become her standard of what a good man should be, someone who gives their best for the family no matter the situation. She expressed deep gratitude for his constant presence, saying that it is something she never fails to appreciate.
