Alexa Miro Puts Heartbreak Behind, Focuses on Work
ALEXA MIRO – The actress is now fully focused on her career and personal growth following her breakup with Congressman and House Majority Leader Sandro Marcos.
Their five-year relationship made headlines after Alexa revealed in a TikTok live session on September 23, 2025, that she ended the romance because of an alleged affair involving actress and beauty queen Franki Russell. A few days later, at the media launch of TV5’s Sing-Galing: Sing-lebrity Edition, she confirmed that her ex-boyfriend was Sandro Marcos, though she didn’t specify exactly when they broke up. Many believe the split occurred earlier this year.
In an interview with PEP.ph on October 16, Alexa said she is embracing single life and putting her energy into improving herself and focusing on her acting career. She explained that she measures her growth by comparing herself to who she was yesterday, always striving to be a better version of herself. Alexa also shared that she has completely moved on, wishing her former partner well and saying that they are on good terms.

Currently, Alexa is busy with her latest project, ReKonek, an official entry for the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival. The family drama, directed by Jade Castro and produced by Reality MM Studios in collaboration with The Th3rd Floor, features a star-studded cast including Gerald Anderson, Carmina Villarroel, Zoren Legaspi, Gloria Diaz, Bela Padilla, Andrea Brillantes, Mavy Legaspi, Cassy Legaspi, Kokoy de Santos, and Donna Cariaga. Alexa plays Paula, a character full of energy and surprises, giving audiences a fresh and different side of her.

Filming for ReKonek is still ongoing, and Alexa admitted she has already received attention online, with some fans commenting on her hair, which is styled specifically for her role. She said she enjoys working with the cast and that the storylines are all connected, capturing the Christmas spirit in a way that will resonate with viewers.
Alexa also expressed her gratitude for being part of the MMFF again after her participation in Strange Frequencies: Taiwan Killer Hospital in 2024.
