Duterte’s Former Spox Harry Roque Reiterates Call for Marcos Jr. To Resign
HARRY ROQUE – The former spokesman of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte tells Pres. Bongbong Marcos to give the position to someone with the right mindset.
The supposed multi-billion flood control issue in the Philippines left countless Filipinos disappointed and seeking for accountability. Several members of the Senate and the House of Representatives are linked to the issue. Amid the alleged flood control scam, there are calls for Pres. Bongbong Marcos to resign from his position.

Recently, anti-Marcos protest took place at the Forbes Park Village in Makati City. Cavite 4th District Congressman Kiko Barzaga led the anti-Marcos protest in calling for the resignation of Pres. Bongbong Marcos. The 27-year-old solon also previously bared an alleged impeachment complaint against the President.

Following the anti-Marcos protest, Harry Roque who is currently in The Netherlands lauded Cong. Kiko Barzaga for his bravery in speaking against Marcos Jr. The former Spokesman of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte also previously called for the resignation of the President.
According to Roque, Barzaga is allegedly the proof that the Filipino people are not losing on the youth to which the future relies. He stressed that he is impressed by how the Cavite Congressman allegedly understands the root of the problem which is supposedly corruption because Marcos Jr., the leader of the country, is allegedly corrupt.

Harry Roque called for Pres. Bongbong Marcos to resign claiming that the Filipino people allegedly knows that the President is no longer capable of leading the country. According to him, the Filipinos may be able to forgive him if he steps down from the position voluntarily.

Recently, Harry Roque reiterated his call for Pres. Bongbong Marcos to resign. Based on a post on his social media account, he is asking the President to give the presidency to someone who is in the right mindset.
“Ibigay mo na, Marcos Jr., ang puwesto sa may tamang pag-iisip,” he said.
Roque also told Marcos Jr. to not cling to power like a gecko. According to him, the President is allegedly being vomited already by the Filipino people. Amid the calls for the resignation of the President, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte explained why she is not calling on Marcos Jr. to resign.
