Who is Claudine Co?

Meet Claudine Co

The name Claudine Co has recently caught public attention—not only for her glamorous lifestyle and international travels, but also because of the ongoing investigation into questionable flood control projects allegedly linked to her family.

Claudine, 25, is the daughter of former Ako Bicol Partylist Representative Christopher Co and the niece of current Ako Bicol Partylist Representative Zaldy Co. Reports have connected Christopher to Hi-Tone Construction and Development Corporation and Zaldy to the Sunwest Group of Companies—both listed among the top 15 contractors that, according to President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., received billions in government funding for flood control projects.

Beyond her family ties, Claudine built her name as a social media influencer and singer. She once actively shared her life on YouTube and Instagram, though her accounts now appear deactivated or deleted. Through her posts, followers got a glimpse of her travels—more than 30 countries to date—often aboard private planes with her family. She showcased luxury fashion, wearing designer clothes, shoes, and bags reportedly worth millions.

Aside from vlogging, Claudine pursued music. She released several songs, including “I Love You Goodbye,” “Patay Sindi,” and “Giliw.” However, it was her lavish lifestyle that sparked online curiosity. Many netizens began to question the source of her wealth and extravagant spending, especially in light of the allegations involving her relatives.

Amid this controversy, President Marcos has ordered a closer look into the lifestyle of government officials. Palace Press Officer Atty. Claire Castro confirmed this directive on August 27, emphasizing transparency as the flood control project probe continues.

The move follows Marcos’ sharp criticism during his recent State of the Nation Address. He condemned contractors involved in the alleged misuse of funds, calling out their disregard for communities devastated by floods and future generations burdened by debt. To reinforce accountability, the government launched “Sumbong sa Pangulo,” a website where citizens can directly report suspicious flood control projects.
