Catriona Gray Fulfills Duty By Donating Blood To Philippine Red Cross

Catriona Gray fulfilled her duty by donating her blood to the Philippine Red Cross.

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray took to social media as she shared that she fulfilled her duty by donating her blood to the Philippine Red Cross.

Previously, Philippine Red Cross Chairman and CEO Richard Gordon confirmed that Catriona was named as the current ambassador of the Philippine Red Cross.

In her Instagram post, she shared photos wherein she donated blood to the Philippine Red Cross. According to her, she did a simple-yet-meaningful act of saving lives – donated her blood during her visit to the headquarters of the Philippine Red Cross.

Catriona explained in her post that donating his/her blood to someone in need might just be one of the easiest ways in order to save a life.

Catriona also said that the blood supplies were “worryingly low” due to people’s hesitancy to visit blood banks during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition, Catriona said that the global pandemic might have restricted him/her from doing his/her normal routine, but it should never hinder his/her passion to help and be compassionate towards the “most vulnerable” people.
