Recently, Gracie Grace Gracia, a Facebook user, shared photos of residents who lined up for a free laundry service at Save5 Laundry Center. The program runs from July 26 to July 27, offering support to those affected by the series of storms and southwest monsoon rains over the past days.
The effort was made possible through a partnership between Save5 and a well-known detergent brand as part of the latter’s “Cycles of Care” program.
The project aims to ease the burden of residents whose homes and belongings were soaked or damaged due to flooding. For many families who lost access to clean water or working appliances, the free wash service came as a big help.
Up to 8 kilos of laundry per family are allowed for washing, enough to clean several days’ worth of soaked clothes and linens. For people trying to recover from the stress of nonstop rain, this simple act of care offers comfort and relief.
The free laundry program is not limited to just one location. In total, 30 Save5 branches across Metro Manila are offering the same service, giving more people the chance to catch up on laundry and clean their clothes without added expense.

Para sa mga kababayan nating nasalanta ng bagyo at habagat, may libreng laundry service ang isang detergent brand.
Available ang free service sa nasa 30 branches ng Save 5 Self-Service Laundromat sa buong Metro Manila simula ngayong weekend ng July hanggang sa weekend ng susunod na buwan.
Open ito mula 7am at tumatanggap ng maglalaba hanggang 6pm. Maximum of two loads o 16 kilos ng labahin ang pwedeng labhan.
