Forbes: Philippines’ richest for 2020
Forbes has unveiled this year’s richest personalities/clans in the Philippines with Sy siblings, the children of mall and banking tycoon Henry Sy retaining the number 1 spot with a whopping US$13.9 billion.
Although they were able to secure the top spot, their fortune was down by $3.3 billion due to the ongoing crisis because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The richest family in the country was followed by former Senator Manuel “Manny” Villar who has a $5 billion wealth.
Here’s the top 10 richest in the Philippines according to Forbes:
1) Sy siblings with US$13.9 billion
2) Manuel Villar with $5 billion
3) Enrique Razon Jr. with $4.3 billion
4) Lance Gokongwei & siblings with $4.1 billion
5) Jaime Zobel de Ayala with $3.6 billion
6) Andrew Tan with $2.3 billion
7) Lucio Tan with $2.2 billion
8) Ramon Ang with $2 billion
9) Tony Tan Caktiong with $1.9 billion
10) Lucio & Susan Co with $1.7 billion
