Xian Gaza Blames Christianity for High Crime Rate in Philippines

Xian Gaza Draws Controversy After Blaming Christianity for Crime in the Philippines

Xian Gaza elicited reactions after claiming that Christianity is partly to blame for the high crime rate in the Philippines.

Recently, Christian Albert Gaza, a Facebook user, blamed Christianity for the rise of crime in the Philippines. His post quickly went viral and garnered various reactions from the social media users.

Gaza compared the Philippines to Thailand, noting that both countries share several similarities in culture and lifestyle. However, he pointed out that Thailand has a lower crime rate, and he believes religion plays a major role in this difference.

According to Gaza, Buddhism teaches that actions in this life carry consequences not just now but also in future lives. Because of this belief in karma and reincarnation, people are more careful about doing wrong. He said that this fear of bad karma helps keep Thailand’s crime rate low.

On the other hand, the influencer criticized the Christian belief in forgiveness. He shared the opinion that in Christianity, even someone who commits serious crimes can still be forgiven if they repent and return to Jesus.

The content creator argued that this idea gives people the confidence to commit crimes, thinking they can just ask for forgiveness later.

Ang setup ng Thailand at Pilipinas ay halos same same lang pero bakit mababa ang krimen dito kumpara sa ating bansa?

It’s because of the religion.

That’s why takot silang gumawa ng mali.

That’s why wala tayong takot gumawa ng krimen.

Bottomline, mataas ang crime rate sa Pilipinas because of Christianity.
