Valentine Rosales Criticizes Meiko Montefalco’s Public Drama
VALENTINE ROSALES – The social media personality shared his strong opinion about content creator Meiko Montefalco, who went viral after posting emotional videos about her husband, Patrick Bernardino, who allegedly cheated on her. However, for Valentine, the whole thing seemed too staged to be genuine.
In a Facebook post on May 24, Valentine said Meiko’s videos appeared scripted and were likely created just to gain attention online. He noted how Meiko looked too prepared for someone dealing with a serious issue—her hair was neatly styled, she had full makeup on, and the video even had a black-and-white filter and background music. Because of this, he felt the videos came off as insincere.
He also criticized Meiko for airing her personal issues publicly instead of handling them privately. According to Valentine, as someone who previously sought online fame, he could easily tell that the videos were designed to go viral and increase her social media engagement. He even joked that Meiko might be hoping to get featured on talk shows like Toni Talks by dramatizing her story.
Valentine went further by calling Meiko a hypocrite, pointing out that while she portrayed herself as a victim, she was often seen partying late at night. “Nanay na yan pero 2am nasa gside padin nag sho-shot ng Cuervo nako kasuya ka,” he wrote, implying that her behavior didn’t match the emotional image she was presenting online.
He even created a mock script to show what he believed might be happening behind the scenes: “Lab, kunwari nag cheat ka tapos eto mga eksena natin. Tapos mag sosorry ka kunwari after 2 days tapos ok na tayo. Makakadami tayo ng views at shares ! Mag viral to at pwede pa ko ma guest sa toni talks lab pag ginawa natin to.” According to him, Meiko was benefiting from the situation, while her husband simply played along.
As of now, Meiko Montefalco has not responded to Valentine’s comments. Meanwhile, public opinion remains divided—some sympathize with Meiko, while others are starting to question the authenticity of her story.
