Yanna Reacts to LTO Sanctions Over Traffic Violations
YANNA – The motovlogger has accepted the decision of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) following the viral road rage incident involving her in Zambales.
The LTO imposed a total fine of Php 7,000 on her and suspended her driver’s license. The penalties include reckless driving (Php 2,000 fine), operating a motorcycle without side mirrors (Php 5,000 fine), and using a vehicle without a license plate. Her license will remain suspended until the motorcycle used in the incident is turned over—something Yanna clarified she could not do, as the vehicle was not hers.
In her official statement, Yanna said she respects the decision of the authorities but maintained that there was no strong evidence proving she was primarily at fault. She did not attend the LTO hearing and failed to present the motorcycle in question, explaining that she does not own it. However, she complied by surrendering her license.

More importantly, Yanna used this moment to draw attention to larger, ongoing problems on Philippine roads. She urged authorities to apply the same strict scrutiny to issues such as overloaded trucks, illegally parked vehicles, unsafe pedestrian walkways, and other long-standing public safety hazards that often go unnoticed. She also highlighted the need for clearer laws regarding the use of trail or off-road areas.
Despite the penalties, Yanna’s tone remained composed. She showed a willingness to comply with the rules while also advocating for a more balanced and fair approach to road safety enforcement. The other driver involved in the viral incident has not yet released a statement, but earlier reports suggest he may pursue legal action.
