Wife of Jinggoy Estrada Complains About Boracay Stay
PRECY VITUG-EJERCITO – The wife of Senator Jinggoy Estrada expressed deep frustration over a negative experience at a well-known resort in Boracay.
In a Facebook post on Friday, she called out Mövenpick Resort & Spa Boracay for what she described as a series of upsetting and unacceptable incidents during her stay—starting with the discovery of a large, foul-smelling cockroach in her bathtub. According to her, the stench from the insect lingered throughout the entire bathroom, leaving her disturbed and unable to enjoy what was meant to be a relaxing vacation.
Things worsened when an issue arose with her villa’s toilet. Initially functioning properly, the toilet reportedly began to emit the same unpleasant odor. When a staff member attempted to fix it, Precy claimed they accidentally broke it, causing it to flush continuously and become unusable. She criticized the repair as careless and said it caused unnecessary stress, calling it a major inconvenience.
Adding to her frustration was the constant presence of resort staff entering and leaving her villa, which she said disrupted her peace and invaded her privacy. She emphasized that this behavior showed a clear lack of respect for guest comfort and boundaries.
Precy also expressed disappointment with the resort’s housekeeping, describing it as below acceptable standards. She said the overall cleanliness of the villa was poor and did not meet the expectations associated with a resort of such reputation.
In her emotional and strongly worded post, she said that these combined issues completely ruined her trip. She ended by expressing anger and disappointment with the service she received and urged the resort to take guest welfare more seriously.
As of now, Mövenpick Resort & Spa Boracay has not issued a public statement in response to her complaints.
