Ogie Diaz Calls on Camille Villar Over PrimeWater Issues

Ogie Diaz Urges Camille Villar to Act on PrimeWater Problems

OGIE DIAZ – The talent manager and vlogger called on newly elected Senator Camille Villar to step in and help address ongoing issues with PrimeWater, a water service provider linked to her family. In a candid social media post, Diaz urged Villar to speak with her older brother and push for action regarding the company’s unresolved problems.

Diaz expressed his frustration, pointing out that PrimeWater appears to be ignoring the complaints and concerns of the public. He criticized what he described as the company’s “deadma” or dismissive attitude, asking where people are supposed to turn if their issues continue to be neglected.

His statement came after Villar’s recent victory in the 2025 Senate elections. Diaz emphasized that now is the right time for her to use her new role and influence to encourage accountability and improved service from PrimeWater.

Previously, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ordered an investigation into the growing complaints against PrimeWater, the Villar family-owned water service provider, following appeals from local officials in Bulacan who raised concerns over poor service despite high rates.

Palace Press Officer Atty. Claire Castro confirmed that the President is taking the matter seriously, stating that poor service from companies managing essential utilities like water will not be tolerated under his administration.

Castro stressed the need for accountability, emphasizing that clean, sufficient water is a basic necessity—not just a business. Residents have long complained about inconsistent supply, billing problems, and unsatisfactory service, all while paying high fees.

She also noted that the controversy may carry political consequences for Senator Camille Villar, saying it is now up to her to prove her commitment to public service. “I think we should immediately take immediate action,” Castro added.
