Paolo Duterte Shares Photo Taken during Duterte Family Meeting for Thanksgiving
DUTERTE FAMILY – Davao City 1st District Congressman Paolo Duterte shared a photo taken during their family meeting for their thanksgiving.
Several family members of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte who is currently detained in The Hague, Netherlands ran for public office in the 2025 Elections. In fact, the former President himself was a mayoralty candidate in Davao City.
Former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte won mayor in Davao amid his detention in The Hague. He is currently under the custody of the International Criminal Court (ICC) over an allegation of crimes against humanity due to his controversial war on drugs campaign.
Amid his detention in The Hague, the Duterte family back in the Philippines campaigned fervently for the PDP-Laban bets of the former President. He is the chairman of the political party with five (5) senatorial bets who made it to the Top 12 of the partial election results.
In Davao City, First District Cong. Paolo Duterte was also reelected while outgoing Davao Mayor Baste Duterte won as vice mayor. Two (2) of former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte’s grandsons also won in the recent elections. Recently, the Duterte family held a family meeting.
Based on a post of Cong. Paolo Duterte on social media, the Duterte family held a meeting for their thanksgiving. In his post, the eldest among the Duterte siblings noted that although “not everything will always go the way we want it to, but there is always always always something to be grateful for”.
Congressman Pulong also expressed their longing for the presence of their father. Based on the post, their youngest, Kitty Duterte who also joined the campaign sorties, was also present at the sleepover bonding with her siblings and nephews.
Kitty Duterte also joined the PDP-Laban campaign sorties to endorse the bets of her father. According to her, considering her age, she previously do not want to be involved in politics but she decided to join the campaign after what was done to her father.
Kitty had visited FPRRD in The Hague. Congressman Pulong just arrived from The Hague. Currently, it is the former President’s youngest brother, Bong Duterte, who is in The Hague. The camp of former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte previously confirmed studying the options for his oath-taking which is required before noontime of June 30.
