Motovlogger Boy Kayak Faces Charges After Performing ‘Superman’ Stunt in Underwear

Motovlogger Boy Kayak in Trouble Over Reckless Motorcycle Stunt

BOY KAYAK – A motovlogger and resident of San Isidro, Ibajay, Aklan, is now facing possible legal consequences after performing a reckless motorcycle stunt on a public highway. In a now-viral video, Boy Kayak is seen riding a motorcycle with a sidecar while wearing only underwear, mimicking a “Superman” pose, dancing, and performing risky moves on the road.

Following the incident, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) issued a show-cause order against him for allegedly violating Section 48 of Republic Act No. 4136, which pertains to reckless driving. During the investigation, Boy Kayak also admitted that he did not have a driver’s license, which could result in further penalties, including disqualification from obtaining one in the future.

An unidentified man can also be heard in the background of the video, but authorities have not yet confirmed whether he will face any charges.

When approached by officials, Boy Kayak explained that he performed the stunt in an attempt to earn money from online content. However, LTO Kalibo Chief Marlon Velez emphasized the importance of responsible behavior among content creators, reminding the public that videos posted online may serve as legal evidence in cases of violations. Velez also criticized the vlogger for setting a poor example and endangering public safety.

In response, Boy Kayak publicly apologized, stating that he never intended to harm anyone. Nevertheless, despite his apology, the LTO confirmed that he will face the appropriate charges for his actions.

Previously, motovlogger John Louie Arguelles tragically died after attempting a dangerous “Superman” stunt, in which riders lie flat on their moving motorcycles at high speeds. During the stunt, he collided with another rider, Rico Buyawan, resulting in a serious accident that led to Arguelles’ death and injuries to six bystanders.

Following the incident, the LTO revoked Rico Buyawan’s driver’s license, citing reckless driving and failure to meet safety standards. In response, authorities have increased patrols along Marilaque Highway to help prevent similar accidents.
