Pickup Driver Shows Up for LTO Probe on Yanna Incident
JIMMY PASCUA – The pickup driver who had a confrontation with motovlogger Yanna during the road rage incident in Zambales appeared at the hearing of the Land Transportation Office’s Intelligence and Investigation Division.
The motovlogger, whose real name is Alyanna Mari A. Aguinaldo, was scheduled to appear before the Land Transportation Office (LTO) on May 6, 2025, at its main office in Quezon City. The hearing was related to a road rage incident in Zambales that went viral and drew widespread public backlash.
In connection with the incident, the LTO issued a Show Cause Order (SCO) directing Yanna to explain why she should not be held liable for multiple traffic violations. These include reckless driving, as stated under Section 48 of Republic Act 4136, the use of an incorrect license plate, and operating a vehicle with unauthorized or faulty accessories.

As part of its investigation, the LTO also began evaluating whether Yanna remains fit to keep her driver’s license. In the meantime, her license has been suspended for 90 days and flagged in the LTO system. She has been ordered to surrender her license once she officially receives the written directive.

However, Yanna failed to attend the hearing, and only her legal representative appeared on her behalf. Also present during the hearing was Jimmy Pascua, the complainant in the case. Despite Yanna’s public apology, online criticism has not died down. Netizens continue to voice their disapproval, with some urging others to mass report her social media page, which has over 400,000 followers. The viral video of the incident has since been taken down, but not before it garnered millions of views—leading some to speculate that she delayed its removal to gain more engagement.
