Diego Loyzaga Makes a Candid Request About His Love Life: “I’m on the Market and Available”
DIEGO LOYZAGA – During a press event for his new film, Diego Loyzaga openly shared that he’s “on the market and available,” sparking curiosity among fans.
Filipino actor Diego Loyzaga recently made headlines after candidly speaking about his current relationship status during the press conference for In Betweens, his upcoming romantic film under VIVA Films, where he stars alongside Sue Ramirez.
In a lighthearted yet sincere tone, Diego addressed the media, revealing, “I’m on the market and available. If you know somebody, please introduce her to me.” He went on to share that the only significant relationship in his life right now is with his daughter.
“My relationship right now is with my daughter. But it’s also nice to feel loved. Is this one-sided? Am I going to find out? I don’t know. Right now, I’m just going with the flow,” he added, drawing laughter and empathy from reporters.
This statement comes after his past relationship with Alexis Suapengco, the mother of his child. Their daughter, Baby Hailey, recently turned two years old in March 2025, according to a report by ABS-CBN News. Back in May 2024, the couple had celebrated her christening with a Star Wars-themed party, a joyful milestone they marked together despite no longer being romantically involved.
During the event, Diego was also asked about In Betweens, a film that explores the complexities of “situationships”—a term often used by Gen Z to describe ambiguous or undefined romantic relationships. Diego acknowledged that the film mirrors the uncertainties many people experience in love today. While he didn’t confirm if his real-life experiences inspired his role, he admitted to understanding the nuances of such connections.
Though he remains unattached romantically, Diego’s openness signals a readiness to embrace new possibilities. His focus, however, remains on his role as a father.
