Son of Businessman Anson Que Accused in Father’s Kidnap-Slay Case

ALVIN QUE – The son of businessman Anson Que is being accused of masterminding the abduction and killing of his father.

Alvin Que, also known as Ronxian Gou, is now at the center of a chilling crime involving the abduction and murder of his own father, businessman Anson Que (also known as Anson Tan), and their family driver. According to police investigations, a suspect claimed that Alvin orchestrated the crime, giving the order to have his father kidnapped and killed.

The Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Group (PNP-AKG) has since identified Alvin as one of six individuals recommended for preliminary investigation by the Department of Justice (DOJ) on April 19. He is accused of playing the role of the family’s negotiator during the ransom talks—all while allegedly being involved in the crime itself.

Records show that Alvin transferred a total of ₱13 million in ransom through a cryptocurrency account—₱10 million on March 31 and another ₱3 million on April 2. Despite these payments, the bodies of Anson Que and the driver were found lifeless on April 9, left along a roadside in Rodriguez, Rizal.

Although earlier reports suggested that the ransom could have reached ₱100 million, the killings still took place, further deepening public shock and outrage. The idea that a son could be responsible for such a brutal act against his own father has gripped the nation and prompted calls for swift justice.

As of now, law enforcement continues to dig deeper into the case. The DOJ is expected to begin formal legal proceedings against Alvin and the other suspects. Authorities are working to ensure all those involved are held accountable, and the public is watching closely as the investigation unfolds.
