Christrina Rey Claps Back at Netizen’s Insensitive Remark About Klarisse De Guzman and Her Family
CHRISTRINA REY – A model and the partner of Kapamilya singer Klarisse De Guzman, responded strongly to a hurtful comment made by a netizen about Klarisse’s mother. The incident occurred during the airing of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition on Kapamilya Online Live on Monday, April 21.
While the show was streaming, a viewer commented, “Wag ka mag-alala Klang, lapit ka na lumabas. Susunod na mama mo sa papa mo.” This deeply offensive remark referenced Klarisse’s father, who had recently passed away due to complications from diabetes while Klarisse was abroad.
Offended by the insensitive comment, Christrina took to Facebook on Tuesday, April 22, to defend Klarisse and her family. She addressed the commenter, identified as Pam Macalanda, expressing frustration and disbelief. According to Christrina, Pam later reached out to apologize, claiming her mind was not in the right place and that she felt attacked the previous night.
Christrina responded firmly: “PAM MACALANDA, You don’t have any idea what we’ve been through and what we’re going through. And now you’re messaging me saying sorry, na magulo lang mind mo, and you felt attacked last night? Well, Kami, we’re in the right state of mind. Sana before ka nagcomment ng ganyan inisip mo ng 10 times yan.”
She emphasized that she usually doesn’t respond to petty remarks, but what Pam said was beyond acceptable. “YOU CROSSED THE LINE. WALA KANG KARAPATAN IDAMAY SI TITO AT TITA!”
Currently, Christrina is actively seeking the commenter for possible legal action, stating that the issue is no longer just about online negativity but about accountability for emotionally harmful behavior.
To recall, Klarisse went viral online after a heated exchange with fellow housemate Dustin Yu. Although they later made amends and apologized to each other, the incident stirred conversations among fans and was even spoofed on the variety show It’s Showtime.
