Kitty Duterte Shares Video of Former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte Following Arrest
RODRIGO DUTERTE – The Philippines’ former President believes that his arrest can lead to the presidential win of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte.
The Filipino populace is divided over the arrest of former Pres. Duterte. The former Chief Executive was arrested due to the alleged warrant of arrest released by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against him. According to the Presidential Communications Office (PCO), the Interpol Manila has received a copy of the said arrest warrant.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) assisted the Interpol Manila in the arrest of former Pres. Duterte. The former Chief Executive just landed from Hong Kong at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) when he was met with the arrest.
Senator Bong Go stressed that former Pres. Duterte has several illnesses citing his advanced age. He is turning 80 years old this month. Go was with the doctor of the former President and they also prepared an ambulance.
However, the authorities took former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte to be under their custody. The PCO said in its statement that the former President was checked by a doctor to ensure that he is in good health. He was detained under the custody of the PNP for several hours yesterday.
The youngest daughter of the former President, Kitty Duterte, took to social media a video of her father while he was in custody at Villamor Air Base. Former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte said that his arrest could lead to the presidency of his eldest daughter, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte.
The former President stressed that Vice Pres. Duterte can be the president tomorrow or will win the presidency someday because of what was done to him now.
“Unang-una, I don’t know, but my family, lalo na si Vice President, if bukas mag-presidente yan, eh di waswas tayong lahat dito or on a longer term, kung tatakbo yan, mananalo yan dahil nga sa ginawa niyo tuloy,” the former President said.
Last night, former Pres. Duterte was mandated to take the flight to Dubai as he will be brought to The Hague in The Netherlands. There were only three (3) people allowed to come with him and he was with his lawyer, a nurse, and his special assistant.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte said she will go to The Netherlands where her father was set to be brought. The Duterte siblings shouted foul over what was done to their patriarch.
This morning, the Office of the Vice President (OVP) confirmed that Vice Pres. Sara Duterte has left the Philippines for Netherlands. It was also confirmed that former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte’s plane has arrived in Dubai and he is set for a flight to The Netherlands.
