Pasay City Court Dismisses All Cases Against Neri Miranda
NERI MIRANDA – The actress-turned-businesswoman has been officially cleared of all charges related to the Dermacare/Beyond Skin Care Solutions controversy. The Regional Trial Court (RTC) of Pasay City dismissed all pending cases against her, affirming that there was no sufficient basis to pursue legal action.
In an order dated February 12, 2025, RTC Pasay City Branch 112 dismissed the syndicated estafa complaint against Miranda following a reinvestigation requested by her legal team. The Office of the City Prosecutor found no probable cause to indict her, leading to the court’s decision.
Acting Presiding Judge Ronald August L. Tan emphasized that the allegations lacked merit. He pointed out that the complainants never claimed they were deceived by Miranda, nor did they state that they personally transacted with or gave money to her. Given these findings, the court ruled that Miranda could not be charged with estafa, much less syndicated estafa.

In a separate ruling on January 20, 2025, RTC Pasay City Branch 111, under Acting Presiding Judge Gina M. Bibat-Palamos, also dismissed complaints against Miranda related to violations of the Securities Regulation Code (Republic Act No. 8799).
Miranda’s legal team welcomed the court’s decision, expressing their gratitude for the fair ruling. Atty. Aureli Sinsuat of FLO Attorneys-at-Law, one of Miranda’s legal representatives, stated, “We thank the courts for clearing the name of Neri Miranda, who has unmistakably been falsely accused of wrongdoing in the Dermacare case. We hope that this issue will be put to rest as regards to Neri, so that instrumentalities of the law can focus on bringing the true perpetrators of the Dermacare scam to justice.”

With all charges dismissed, Miranda can now move forward, free from the weight of these accusations. Her legal team hopes that this ruling will finally put an end to the controversy surrounding her and allow justice to be served against those truly responsible.
