Regine Velasquez to Sam Milby: “Sorry kasi we’re not friends anymore”
REGINE VELASQUEZ – A seemingly meaningful joke made by Asia’s Songbird toward Kapamilya actor Sam Milby during his guest appearance on the live episode of ASAP on Sunday, March 2, has sparked discussions online.
During the show, Regine and Sam appeared to be having a casual chat when host Robi Domingo suddenly pulled Regine towards Piolo Pascual, her former movie co-star. Shortly after, Robi and Regine led Sam toward them.
At that moment, Regine playfully told Sam, “Sorry kasi we’re not friends anymore.” Her comment took Sam by surprise, but he responded with a smile and laughter. Regine later gave him a brief hug before moving on with the show’s segment.
Sam’s reaction stems from his recent statement about his friendship with OPM singer Moira Dela Torre. In an interview with ABS-CBN showbiz reporter MJ Felipe, Sam mentioned that he and Moira were no longer friends, though he did not reveal the reason, saying only that she was “too sensitive.”
Adding to the buzz, social media personality Xian Gaza made a Facebook post involving Sam and Moira. In his post, he questioned the rumors allegedly spread by Moira, claiming she and Sam had been intimate multiple times, which reportedly caused some celebrities to distance themselves from him.
A netizen also commented on Xian’s post, asking if Sam was the inspiration behind Moira’s song Kumpas. In response, Xian sarcastically said, “At bakit ako ang tinatanong mo? Ano namang pake ko sa mga yan? Hindi maganda yung nakikialam ka sa buhay ng may buhay. Mag-focus ka sa sarili mo hindi yung pinoproblema mo buhay ng ibang tao.”
Meanwhile, during a recent event, Moira addressed the rumors, denying the false accusations against her. However, she has yet to comment on her friendship with Sam or respond to reports that celebrities like Erik Santos, Yeng Constantino, and TJ Monterde have unfollowed her on social media.
