Jellie Aw’s Friends Reveal the Truth Behind the Assault
JELLIE AW – The friends of the club DJ have come forward to share what they know about the violent altercation between Jellie and her fiancé, Jam Ignacio.
On February 12, 2025, disturbing photos of Jellie surfaced on social media, showing her bruised and bloodied face. She personally accused Jam of the assault in a post, a claim later confirmed by her sister, Jo Aw. According to News5, Jellie’s friends revealed that the argument between the couple started over a minor issue involving a friend. Although they did not specify the exact cause, they said the situation quickly escalated.
Jam, who had been drinking, reportedly lost his temper and physically attacked Jellie. He then allegedly forced her into a car and drove toward Pampanga while continuing to assault her during the trip. Jellie’s friend, Diane Gonzales, described the terrifying ordeal: “Nung nakainom na si Jam, siguro sa sobrang pikon niya po kay Jelly, pagdating daw po sa sasakyan, pinagsasapak na siya, binugbog na siya. Binugbog siya, talagang wala nang palag si Jellie.”
A crucial moment came when they reached the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX). Jam’s car RFID failed to work at the toll gate, giving Jellie a chance to call for help. “Pagdating sa toll gate, nagsisisigaw po si Jellie daw at nakahingi po siya ng tulon,” Diane said. “Doon na po lumabas [ng sasakyan] si Jam Ignacio. Nagtatakbo na po siya.” NLEX personnel immediately assisted Jellie, ensuring her safe return to Quezon City. Meanwhile, Jam fled the scene and has not been seen since.
Another friend, Christian Tugado, shared that Jellie and Jam had frequent arguments. “Nag-a-advise kami sa kanila kasi medyo madalas sila mag-away. Tapos nagulat na lang kami na nangyari to. Maliit lang naman ata yung dahilan ng pinag-awayan,” he said. Jellie has since coordinated with the police and is considering filing formal charges against Jam. As of now, neither Jellie nor Jam has released a statement to PEP.ph or other media outlets. Any updates from both sides will be reported as soon as they become available.
