Joey Reyes Claims Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings Are Today’s “Best Young Actors”
MARIS RACAL and ANTHONY JENNINGS – The two are among today’s “best young actors,” according to director Joey Reyes.
Maris Racal is a Filipino actress, singer, and social media personality. She first gained fame as the runner-up in Pinoy Big Brother: All In (2014). Since then, she has built a successful career in showbiz, starring in TV series and movies such as Hanggang Saan, Pamilya Ko, and The Kangks Show. Maris is also a singer-songwriter, releasing music under Star Music and OC Records. She is well known for her relationship with singer Rico Blanco, which has drawn public interest due to their significant age gap.
Anthony Jennings is a Filipino actor and model. He started his career as a talent under Star Magic and gained recognition for his role in the hit movie Hello, Love, Goodbye (2019). Since then, he has appeared in various TV series and films, including 2 Good 2 Be True and Can’t Buy Me Love. Known for his charm and comedic timing, Anthony is considered one of the rising actors in Philippine showbiz today.
Director Joey Reyes couldn’t help but express his admiration for the two, calling them the “Best Young Actors” in today’s local entertainment industry. Aside from Maris and Anthony, the veteran director also acknowledged actress Kaila Estrada as one of them.
“Regardless of what you think or feel about their personal choices, there is no denying whatsoever … that these two are samples of the BEST YOUNG ACTORS in our local entertainment universe today. Add Kaila Estrada to the fray. They elevate their TV series far above the complexities of action scenes. I am their fan,” he wrote.
As of press time, Maris Racal, Anthony Jennings, and Kaila Estrada have yet to respond to director Joey Reyes’ remarks.
