Xian Gaza: “Ang hirap maging mahirap kasi unfair sayo ang mundo”
XIAN GAZA – The social media personality shared his opinion on a viral video of a young girl, in her school uniform, selling Sampaguita outside SM Megamall, where a security guard forced her to leave.
In his post, Gaza conveyed his frustration with the societal system and the struggles faced by children living in poverty. He shared, “Ang hirap maging mahirap kasi unfair sayo ang mundo. Yan ang masakit na realidad.”
Gaza further discussed the harsh reality faced by many children who, at a young age, must work to support their education. He also criticized the root cause of these issues, such as parents having children without the financial capacity to provide for them. He urged, Kaya sana eh huwag po tayong mag-anak ng mag-anak if we are not financially capable.
In his post, Gaza also reached out to the security guard involved, expressing empathy. God bless you both.”
The post garnered mixed reactions from netizens. Many praised Gaza’s message, while others emphasized the need for systemic change to prevent such situations. The viral video served as a reminder of the severe poverty faced by children who are exposed to life’s hardships at an early age.
Meanwhile, SM Megamall issued an official statement regarding the incident. The mall expressed sorrow over the situation, offered their condolences to the girl, and announced that they had initiated an immediate investigation with the security agency. They assured that the guard would no longer be employed at any of their locations.
