Maris Racal Gains Support from a Beauty Brand Amid Cheating Issue

Beauty Brand Shows Support for Maris Racal Amid Cheating Issue

SNAIL WHITE PHILIPPINES – The beauty brand showed its support for Maris Racal in the wake of her cheating controversy involving Anthony Jennings, which had dominated social media for several days. On December 9, the skincare brand posted an encouraging message on Instagram: “To err is human, to forgive is divine, keep glowing,” reaffirming their confidence in their ambassador.

Maris was appointed as Snail White’s newest brand ambassador on December 3, just hours before the scandal broke. The timing of the announcement coincided with the backlash she faced after text messages and photos were shared online by Jennings’ ex-girlfriend, Jamela Villanueva.

The leaked exchanges revealed an affair between Racal and Jennings while he was still in a relationship with Villanueva. Jam’s posts sparked a wave of online criticism, with many questioning Maris’ character and intentions. In response, Jam expressed her pain, saying she couldn’t remain silent about the situation anymore and wanted to clarify the truth, even though she wasn’t looking to escalate the drama.

In contrast to Snail White’s show of support, another brand, Dazzle Me, ended its partnership with Maris. On December 5, they released a statement explaining their decision, noting that while they appreciated Racal’s energy and authenticity, they had to move in a different direction to align with their brand’s principles. Despite the online noise, both Maris and Anthony publicly apologized for their actions.

Previously, content creator Davao Conyo, whose real name is Phillip Te Hernandez, gained attention online after standing up to a netizen’s request for a parody about actress Maris Racal. The request came amid Maris’ controversy involving screenshots of alleged flirtatious messages between her and co-star Anthony Jennings, shared by Anthony’s ex-girlfriend.

The netizen commented, “Make entry for Maris Issue please. Hahahah. Looking forward.” Instead of entertaining the idea, Davao Conyo took a stand. He wrote on his Instagram story, “Ante hindi maganda yang pinagtatawanan ang may pinagdadaanan. Sana di mo ma experience.”
