PNP Announces Pastor Apollo Quiboloy’s Transfer Order To Pasig Jail

APOLLO QUIBOLOY – The netizens reacted to the Philippine National Police (PNP) announcement that the Pastor is ordered to be transferred to Pasig City Jail today.

One of the high-profile personalities that is currently detained due to charges is Pastor Quiboloy, the founder and leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ which has several members most especially in Davao. From August to September, the PNP conducted search operations at the KOJC compound in Davao City.

Quiboloy was in hiding for several months already when the PNP decided to do intensified search operations. Reportedly, the operations of the police authorities included drilling activities as they initially believed that the Pastor may be hiding in a bunker after their device detected a heartbeat underground.

Early in September, Apollo Quiboloy was arrested by the PNP. He was detained at the PNP Custodial Facility in Camp Crame while his co-accused were transferred to Pasig City Jail as per the Court order. Then, it elicited reactions with some netizens calling for fairness among the accused.

More than a week ago, Pastor Quiboloy was hospitalized due to irregular heartbeat. He also experienced chest discomfort. It urged his camp to appeal for a medical furlough which was granted by the Court.

The Philippine National Police or PNP confirmed that Quiboloy was briefly brought to the children’s hospital but he was brought back to the Philippine Health Center after the tests. The two (2) hospitals were not far away from each other.

The camp of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy sought for an extension of his medical furlough due to dental implants infection. The Court granted the request of the Pastor’s camp.

Recently, the Philippine National Police announced that Pastor Quiboloy is ordered to be transferred to the Pasig City Jail. According to PNP spokesperson Jean Fajardo, the Court ordered the transfer of the Pastor to the Pasig City Jail at 4 p.m. today, November 27, 2024.

Pastor Apollo Quiboloy will run for senator in the 2025 Midterm Elections. He is running as an independent candidate after he revoked his Certificate of Nomination and Acceptance (CONA) from the Workers’ and Peasants’ Party.
