Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Speaks on Accusations against her amid Tirades
SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President told her supporters that she is willing to undergo any test including psychological and drug tests.
Vice Pres. Duterte is currently faced with several issues. She is being questioned about the utilization of the Confidential Funds of the Office of the Vice President (OVP) and the Department of Education (DepEd). On the latest hearing regarding the issue, Duterte’s chief-of-staff Attorney Zuleika Lopez was cited in contempt and detained.
Vice Pres. Duterte requested to join her OVP chief-of-staff during detention citing her health issues but she was not allowed by the House panel. On Saturday morning, amid the order for her transfer to the Correctional Institution for Women in Mandaluyong City, Atty. Zuleika Lopez fell ill.
The OVP Chief-of-Staff was rushed to the hospital and Duterte accompanied her. She was brought to the Veterans Memorial Medical Center and was transferred to St. Luke’s Medical Center. However, a transfer order mandating her transfer to the VMMC was released and served.
Atty. Zuleika Lopez was crying and hugging Vice Pres. Sara Duterte while the transfer order was being read to her. She is reportedly worried about her safety but the Philippine National Police (PNP) assured her that she will be safe.
Amid the issues, Vice Pres. Duterte threw threats anew against Pres. Bongbong Marcos and, this time, the First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos is part of the warning as well. The assassination threats drew different reactions and accusations from the public.

“Sinabi nila ako daw ay krung krung, ako daw ay baliw, ako daw ay wala sa tamang pagiisip. Ano bang sabi ko sa inyong lahat psychological test kahit ano yan, neuro psychiatric test, kahit ano pang test yan gagawin ko yan,” the Vice President said.
According to VP Sara, she is will to undergo drug test as long as those who work in the government most especially under the Office of the President, the OVP, the Senate, and the Congress will undergo the same test. Based on the report, the Vice President issued a challenge to her fellow government officials to do it in front of the public.
“Magpa-drug test tayong lahat sa harap ng taong bayan,” Duterte said.
