Camp of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy Releases Statement Anew
APOLLO QUIBOLOY – The camp of the Pastor confirmed that they have sought an extension of his medical furlough due to a dental infection.
After several months of hiding, Pastor Quiboloy was arrested by the Philippine National Police (PNP) early in September. The founder and leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ is faced with several complaints and is detained in Camp Crame.
The other co-accused of Pastor Quiboloy was already brought to Pasig City Jail while he remains in detention at the PNP Custodial Facility in Camp Crame. Recently, Pastor Quiboloy was hospitalized due to irregular heartbeat and chest discomfort. He is currently 74 years old.
The camp of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy sought medical furlough. The Court permitted Quiboloy to go for a checkup. He was brought to the Philippine Heart Center. The Philippine National Police or PNP also confirmed that Pastor Quiboloy was briefly brought to the Philippine Children’s Medical Center for the other tests.
Recently, the camp of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy revealed that they sought for an extension of the medical furlough granted to the KOJC founder. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Quiboloy’s legal counsel, Attorney Israelito Torreon, said that there are matters that they need to address with regards to the dental operation of the Pastor that affects his jaw.
The lawyer claimed that there is an infection on the dental implants of Pastor Quiboloy. According to him, there are opposition and prosecution thus, they need to address it. Based on the report, the legal counsel of the Pastor said he will raise the concern at the pre-trial proceedings for the case against his client.
“Mayroong infection po kasi yung kaniyang dental implants. May opposition and prosecution so we have to address that today,” Torreon said.
Based on the report, with regards to the irregular heartbeat of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, Atty. Israelito Torreon said that it was attended to but there are other tests that have to be conducted to ensure that the Pastor is in good health.
Amid his detention at the PNP Custodial Facility in Camp Crame although he has yet to return after the Court granted him a medical furlough, Pastor Quiboloy is running for senator in the 2025 Elections.
