In an open letter, Xian Gaza defended Nadine Lustre against the criticism she received for promoting a gambling platform. He explained that Nadine currently has few projects and is dealing with financial challenges such as loans, bills, and the need to support her lifestyle. He also mentioned that several people rely on her financially, making it reasonable for her to accept a highly paid-endorsement deal. Gaza pointed out that the payment for this single project is more than what Nadine earned from June 2022 to September 2024 combined.
He questioned why the public is canceling Nadine over a single promotional post, arguing that her involvement as a brand ambassador does not directly ruin lives or families. He said that gambling problems already exist and that people who gamble would continue to do so with or without Nadine’s endorsement.
Gaza urged critics to focus on the gambling platform itself instead of judging Nadine’s character. He emphasized that Nadine has not scammed or deceived anyone. He called for fairness and understanding, saying that Nadine is simply finding ways to handle her financial struggles properly and legally. He encouraged everyone to be more realistic and considerate in their judgments.
