Janice de Belen on the Breakup of John and Priscilla

JANICE DE BELEN – The actress addressed the rumors surrounding the alleged breakup between her ex-husband, John Estrada, and his wife, Priscilla Meirelles.

During an interview with PEP.ph on November 12, 2024, the actress, known for her direct responses, made it clear that she was not involved in their personal matters. When asked about her reaction to the breakup rumors, Janice simply stated, “Basta wala akong kinalaman dun. Yun lang. Wala akong kinalaman.” and further emphasized, “Not my life. Not my business,” when asked if she had any personal thoughts on the situation. She also mentioned that Priscilla had not contacted her, as she did not want to be part of their private lives.

This came after a video of John Estrada with a mystery woman went viral on November 1, 2024. The video led to speculation that John was in a new relationship, particularly after his statement in July 2024 where he and Priscilla shared that they were taking a break from their marriage. In the video, John appeared happy with the unidentified woman, fueling further rumors.

In response to the video, John issued a statement explaining that, like any normal person, he had the right to be friends with anyone, regardless of gender. He clarified that being a public figure meant his actions were often closely watched, but he did not owe anyone an explanation about his friendships.

Meanwhile, Priscilla responded to the situation with a cryptic post on her Instagram on November 3, 2024, stating, “When someone makes you an option, make them a memory.” This seemed to reflect her thoughts on the ongoing situation with John.
