Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Claims Pres. Bongbong Marcos Allegedly Does Not Know How To Be President
SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President gave “one” as her rating on the governance of Pres. Bongbong Marcos when asked to rate from 1-10.
The Filipino people are shocked and confused on the ties between Pres. Marcos and Vice Pres. Duterte. During the campaign period, they were running-mates and their supporters were happy with how close and attentive they are to each other.
However, roughly around two (2) years since Marcos and Duterte won the 2022 presidential and vice presidential elections, the ties between the two (2) politicians has turned sour. Vice Pres. Duterte claimed she realized that her relationship with Pres. Marcos has become toxic already.
The speculations on the real ties between Marcos and Duterte started after the Vice President resigned from being the secretary of the Department of Education (DepEd). She also resigned from the Marcos cabinet and her decision was accepted by the Chief Executive.
Duterte admitted that the root of her resignation from the Marcos cabinet includes both personal and work reasons. Previously, Duterte also claimed that she will never again team up with the Marcoses on future elections.
The Vice President claimed that she and the President did not really start as friends as they were only introduced when they became running mates in the 2022 Elections. On the things they talk about, she mentioned campaign and work only.
Pres. Marcos thinks he was deceived as Vice Pres. Duterte downplayed their friendship. According to the Vice President, her friend really is Senator Imee marcos. Recently, in a press conference, the VP also did not hesitate to throw another set of strong remarks against the Chief Executive.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte said that Pres. Bongbong Marcos does not know how to be a president and it is not already her fault. Based on a report on GMA News, the Vice President claimed that she cannot remember Marcos Jr. having a platform nor discussing what he wants to happen.
“I don’t ever remember may plataporma siya. I don’t ever remember him discussing kung anong gagawin sa problema ngayon,” Duterte said.
The Vice President also claimed that the Chief Executive has committed five (5) offenses that can result to his impeachment from his position. Based on the report, when asked to rate the governance of Marcos from 1-10 with 10 as the highest rating, she gave him the lowest.
Malacañang remains mum on the criticisms of Vice Pres. Duterte against Pres. Marcos.
