Carlos Yulo Throws Shade at His Former Favorite Chocolate Drink in a Commercial

CARLOS YULO – The two-time Olympic gold medalist seemed to throw shade at his former favorite chocolate drink in a commercial.

Recently, he appeared in a commercial promoting a new chocolate drink from the networking company IAM Worldwide, which he called his “new favorite.” This announcement came amid rumors that his previous partnership with a well-known chocolate drink brand had ended, as he hadn’t received much recognition from them after winning a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

In a video released by IAM Worldwide, Carlos shared his love for chocolate drinks but acknowledged that many are unhealthy. He stressed that he found a healthier choice with this new brand. “Mahilig talaga ako sa chocolate drink, kaya lang madalas hindi ito healthy,” Carlos said. “Pero nahanap ko na ang healthy chocolate drink, ang aking new favorite,” he added.

Some netizens saw Carlos’s comments as a subtle dig at his former sponsor, especially since the previous brand faced criticism for its high sugar content, which is linked to various health issues. Carlos’s decision to switch his endorsement has sparked mixed reactions online, with some supporters praising his choice for a healthier product while others discuss the implications of moving away from his previous brand.
